Clayton Brooks

Clayton Brooks Headshot

Clayton Brooks is the Worship Pastor of The Oaks. He is strongly committed to leading the church in heartfelt, corporate worship. Clayton believes that effective worship ministry will build unity and faith among the body of Christ. He spends his time and energy ensuring that the worship experience at The Oaks will help people keep their focus on Jesus, give people a balanced picture of who God is, stretch people in their expression of worship to Him, inspire people to live out their worship everyday, and bring and atmosphere of life, truth, hope, healing, and freedom for all who attend.

In addition to leading worship for The Oaks Sunday and Wednesday services, Clayton oversees the worship internship – a division of The Oaks School of Leadership. In this program students from all over the country can develop their musical abilities and be trained in several key focuses of music ministry, such as: songwriting, song production, recording and mixing, basic music theory, and worship leading/pastoring. Clayton oversees the internship program along with the support of a dynamic leadership team consisting of recording artists Shane and Shane, and the Oaks Worship staff.

He is passionate about writing music and lyrics that encourage people to lift their eyes and hearts to Jesus, and he has written several worship songs that are sung in churches across the nation today, such as: Pour Your Spirit, To Be Like You, There’s More, and Only You. He has worked alongside Rachel Hunter and Shane and Shane to produce multiple live worship recordings at The Oaks, and in 2006 he produced his own studio project entitled And You Come Down.

Clayton is very happily married to Andrea Brooks; and they have a son, Connor Brooks.
