We are committed to serving you and we are excited that you are considering walking with us in membership!

Part of the process of becoming a "Fully Devoted Follower of Christ" is to become a member of a local church where you can be connected and serve.  Becoming a member at The Oaks is a simple three part process: 

1.)  Attend our Newcomers Dinner.  What is the Newcomers Dinner?

A meeting on the first Sunday evening of each month (there are some exceptions due to holidays and none in December) at 6 pm in the Concourse of the Main Auditorium. Here you will have the opportunity to know where we came from, what we believe, and how we do church. By coming to this event, you are able to meet staff pastors and other key leaders; thus you will quickly begin to put names and faces together.  One of our pastors will take you on a behind the scenes tour of our facilities so that you will have a good idea of where things are located.  We will help you get connected to a small group that will provide a lasting atmosphere of relationship and discipleship. 2.) Fill out an application for membership.

This application contains important info such as the dates you committed your life to Jesus Christ and followed Him in water baptism.  At a later date, our Board of Elders review this application for approval.

There is one more step....

3.) You will be recognized before our congregation. 

We believe others should see you and celebrate with you as you are recognized as a member of The Oaks.
