One of the the greatest legacies you will ever leave is found in your relationship with your spouse and children. With a 6-week focus on building healthy marriages, followed by a 6-week focus on effective parenting, this very well may be the most important thing you do for your family this year.

Financial Peace

A lot of us need help during this tough economic climate. Come and find out about the 13-week seminar based on Dave Ramsey's Bible-based Financial Peace University curriculum to learn practical and Biblical steps towards financial peace and freedom. Alpha: The Questions of Life

Alpha is an international and interdenominational discipleship program that has helped over 13 million people experience spiritual growth. History's Most Interesting Man

Beyond the regal oil paintings, childhood flannel-board figure, and epic movie depictions of Jesus... We find something much more. An in-depth look into the biblical and historical Jesus reveals a compelling picture of who He is, and a powerful revelation of what His life means to our lives today.

Worship service for 6th to 12th grade students is available.

Small Group for kids K to 5th grade is available.

Childcare for zero to pre-K is available.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. If you’ve lost someone close to you, consider attending GriefShare.

DivorceCare

This is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. It's a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling and receive biblical information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce. DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K)

DC4K, is a 13-week Christ centered program for children (ages 5-12) struggling with the hurt and pain of divorce and separation. There is a cost of $15 per child which must be paid prior to the first session. For more information, call Laurie Huneke (972-921-1583).

12 Step Recovery

If you or someone you know is seeking recovery or freedom from life controlling addictions, dependencies and compulsions, The Oaks has a Christ-centered recovery program designed to help you or your friend. Our desire is to minister to those seeking freedom and recovery. Signing up is not necessary, but if you have questions, you can call Glen Anderson at 512.924.4798.

Family Recovery

The Family Recovery Support Group is a Christ-centered support group for spouses, family and friends of alcoholics and addicts. It is held at the same time as the 12 Step Recovery Group. Childcare is provided. If you have any questions regarding the Family Recovery Support Group, contact Barbie Anderson at 512.422.9865.

A young adult (18 to 30+) community is available with worship and conversations about relevant topics.
