Care Strategy
Throughout Ellis County and South Dallas, there are many different areas of needs. There are also many dedicated people who are committed to help meet needs through various humanitarian organizations in our community. As the body of Christ, we want to be more intentional about developing long-term partnerships with these organizations. To do this, under The Oaks Care Strategy we have created the "One for Ellis County" initiative tasked to develop & maintain relationships with these organizations. The purpose of which is to provide an avenue of communication about causes & make opportunities to serve available to our congregation.

Foster/Adopt Training & Certification
Have you considered becoming a foster parent? What about providing respite (temporary) care for foster children or becoming a CASA Worker? There are multiple ways to minister to the thousands of foster children in Texas. On Wednesday, 2/29 @7PM, The Oaks will host an informational meeting for anyone interested in becoming a foster parent, adoptive parent, CASA worker or getting involved in The Oaks' Foster Care ministry.
The Oaks is partnering with Arrow Child & Family Ministries to host Foster and Adopt training courses in March. The training schedule is below.
