Meet Jack Graves

Nick Name: Texas Jack / Texas Fire Jack

Day job: Marketing Director Integrated Security Manufacturer

Ministry Role: Prayer Ministry Team

I am originally from across the river in Dallas.

I serve as an example that God can use anybody, because only He has the patience, grace, love and power to transform us beyond anything our mind or the minds of others can conceive.

I came to The Oaks because the Lord brought us. The awesome worship opened the door.

Funniest Oaks moment: Any snapshot moment when Pastor Mark Brewer casts a baited line when preaching and/or teaching. Then it gets serious quick when he hooks you.

When I am not at The Oaks I'm at home or somewhere God is doing something special...

Life motto: (Personal) In His presence I find my purpose and walk into my destiny. (In Relationships) Grace Rules. (Spiritual Warfare) The devil has a breaking point.

Most memorable Oaks moment is any moment that my family has experienced spiritual breakthroughs or received honor and encouragement for "their walk."

Favorite scripture: John 3:16, Hebrews 13:5 (amplified), Revelation 4 ("Come up here...") and ALL the others.

When and where did you get saved: May, 1973. Holy Spirit set me up to attend a charismatic prayer meeting. Jesus made me an offer I couldn't refuse - A new life.

Life-changing moments were too many, but these are key ones: Good Friday 2,000+ years ago, May 1973 and 1982 and every morning that I awaken.
